The Adventure Begins is paper-faced puzzle board, cut close enough that a finished corner lifts in one piece. The Pokémon licence gives us flat bright colour fields — easy to look at, awkward to sort. 108 pieces makes it a short build, under an hour once the edges are out.

Turn every piece face up before joining anything and pull the edges as you go. The sorting pass feels like dead time and saves more than any other habit. We keep it with the rest of our jigsaw work, next to the other Pokémon releases.

What is in the box

  • Recommended for those who like puzzles as well as craft hobbies
  • The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
