How We Choose What to Stock
The mechanics behind every number on these pages, in plain terms.
Everything listed is something we make
Only our own products appear here. If the brand on the box is not ours, it is not on these pages, however close the format looks.
Prices and ratings
Both are pulled from the live product listing, not typed in by hand. A price shown here was correct when the page was last rebuilt, and the price at the checkout of the partner store is the one that counts.
Ratings are the listing's own star average, with the review count beside it.
Piece counts and sizes
Counts come from the product data, not from the artwork. Where a finished size is published we print it; where it is not, we leave the line out rather than estimate.
Build times are our own judgement, formed by building the things. Treat them as a range, not a promise.
Sold out
Runs are small and licences expire. When a set goes, the page stays up for a while, because people still want to know what was in the box, and then it comes down.
The quickest substitute is almost always the same scene in another format — the same Totoro forest exists as board, as crystal and as folded paper.
Photographs
The product photographs are our own studio shots. Nothing on these pages is a render or a mock-up.
