Laputa Sheeta is paper theater, the format we invented: die-cut layers, no knife, a diorama at the end. Ghibli background art is painted, not drawn, which is why these read as pictures rather than posters.

Build it back to front and check the gap from the side before the glue sets — you get about a minute to move a layer and none at all after that. We list it beside the other paper theater sets so you can compare sizes before you choose.

What is in the box

  • Clever artistic uses of paper are one of the many characteristics of Japanese culture and this item is no exception
  • Create a beautiful multi-layered diaorama out of paper to make this image of Sheeta from Castle in the Sky
  • Glue required to hold pieces together! (Not Included)
  • The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed ensky product
