Totoro (Wood Style) stacks printed card into depth, so a flat design ends up with real shadow in it. Ghibli signs off on the colour for these, which is why the greens sit where the film put them.

Give it side light when it is finished. We draw the layer shadows into the design and overhead light flattens every one of them. We list it beside the other paper theater sets so you can compare sizes before you choose.

    Adorable

Very cute and a nice project to do on a rainy day! Getting the frame to line up was the hardest part but worth it. Putting it in my baby’s nursery as decoration!
