My Neighbor Totoro Fishing Jigsaw Puzzle is paper-faced puzzle board, cut close enough that a finished corner lifts in one piece. We run Totoro across every format we make, so the same forest turns up as board, crystal and folded paper. 1000 pieces put this at the top of our range — five to eleven hours of table time for one person.

Light it from the side, not overhead — side light raises the cut edges and makes shape matching possible at all. We keep it with the rest of our jigsaw work, next to the other My Neighbor Totoro releases.

    I LOVED IT!

    I LOVED IT!! I cannot wait to find a frame to hang it up, the glue is clear and works perfectly with the pieces, the red smoother was helpful to spread everything evenly. I did not have a hard time putting this 1,000 piece puzzle together, I also love how its not an actual scene from the movie but someone else artwork. The most difficult part would be the white border but I managed my way to finishing it up beautifully.

    My favorite puzzle this year

    My favorite puzzle this year! I even actually framed this one and hung it up, something I never thought I would do! Not only is the picture so sweet and soothing, but the pieces are of good solid quality, and the difficulty level was just right — moderate, I would say. Funny thing, though, this scene is not actually in the movie...

    Great Quality

    I was nervous after reading some reviews but the quality of this is the same as the ones sold in Japanese bookstores. The pieces do fit together pretty loosely so if you intend to use the glue make sure you're already on a surface for gluing as it can be tricky to get something underneath after completed.
