This is Kirby WARPSTAR Paper Theater — a scene cut into layers, pushed out by thumb and glued back to front. Kirby goods are shaped soft on purpose — rounded forms, pastel fills, nothing sharp.

Work over a tray, keep the waste frames for their numbers, and glue one tab at a time. The whole thing goes faster with tweezers than with fingers. We keep it with the rest of our paper theater work, next to the other Kirby releases.

    Cute paper craft kit

Got this for my Kirby-obsessed boyfriend. The paper is good quality and the kit comes together nicely. The instructions are only in Japanese but it has clear pictures for each step. I suggest using an exacto knife to keep crisp lines when separating the pieces from the main cards. Other than that you need glue to attach the pieces together, and tweezers for some of the super tiny pieces, as shown in my third pic.

    Great paper craft!

This was one of the harder ones I've made and I even messed up a few times. It's difficult to tell the difference in some colors and designs but I ended up figuring out a way to fix it and it still came out wonderful. Some of the pieces are ridiculously small (See the Chimera's nose and yellow ears) - definitely need to buy tools such as extremely sharp tweezers.

    Intermediate difficulty

My son received one of these as a gift when my brother went to Japan and he requested one for his birthday. This one had a lot of small pieces and took a while to put together but he loved it and wants more.
